  2. Image Title Tag

  4. Keyword in URL of page containing the image
  5. The DA of the domain and the PA of page containing the image
  6. Search text in TITLE tag of the page
  7. The closeness of search text to the image
  8. The closeness of search text after the image (in the HTML)
  9. Keyword in the H1, H2, H3, or H4 tags

That’s the top ten most affecting factors to the image search ranking on your blog posts. Overall, the image Title and ALT attributes are the most influential in affecting the image search ranking on Google SERP.

Adding ALT and TITLE attributes to your blog post image is not just a repository for the disposal of keywords. Search Engine works to appreciate the proper use of the image Title and ALT attributes and penalize the one that abuses the keywords.

  • TITLE attribute provides additional information to the blog visitors to and to improve the overall accessibility and usability of the web pages.
